Attorney Hector Cavazos was born in Laredo, TX. Raised in the border town of Reynosa, Mexico, attorney Cavazos learned Spanish fluently as well as obtained a first-hand understanding of the Mexican culture and history. 

 

After graduating high school in Mexico, attorney Cavazos attended the University of Texas-Pan American (now University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) where he obtained a B.S. degree in criminal justice.

Before being admitted to law school, attorney Cavazos worked for the Texas Youth Commission and the Texas Department of Human Services.

Attorney Cavazos was admitted to and attended St. Mary's University School of Law in San Antonio where he obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree as well as a Master of Arts in International Relations.

Attorney Cavazos has been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas since 2003 and has been representing clients in Texas courts since then.
